Usagi Drop Episode 3

The capitalization of Noitamina's supremacy in subtle storytelling

4/5 Stars

Cute moments are everywhere
The intentional lack of background music and unexaggerated sense of style really cuts into the series. This is a show that knows what themes its following and what it's perpetual ideal is.

Episode 1 introduced the two main characters: Daikichi and Rin. Episode 2 introduced the change in Daikichi's lifestyle. Episode 3 refurbished the already implied successions of Rin's disposition.

Already are we lifted off the ground and driving towards the major themes of the story, and I'm really lovin it. The pacing is unmatched, just obliterating the standards to time usage in Noitamina's book and is exceptionally balanced in it's day to day prosperity and its drama.

The inclusion of Rin's mystery mom is quite the dilemma and protrudes itself ever so slowly into the watercolor landscapes. I feel like this is Noitamina's strength and really deserves some appreciation.

Balancing your job, your future, your day-to-day activities is quite the stress and really reaches the overall foundations of childcare. And because of the limitless supply of affection Rin needs right now, we understand, simply by watching, that this task is not easy.
Rin is by far the best behaved child I've ever known....
