Here's the thing... I actually read the manga long before watching this, and yet I love it anyways. Noitamina has done a splendid job with the animation and has yet to make me unhappy with the translation from manga to anime. And this is actually VERY rare.

I usually get mildly upset at animation studios for butchering some high class manga. Kami no mizo shiru sekai, Bakuman, Beelzebub... These were great manga that deserved better.

Usagi Drop has the charm of Aishiteruze Baby and puts it into a more realistic and more mature fashion. This is a good thing. I love high school as much as the next guy, but it really is a breath of fresh air when the characters are a bit older and more mature.

Daww.... Kawaii Rin....

In Episode 2, we see the two main characters actually living together and showing how their lives actually transition from the changes that took place in episode 1. This was a great episode in the way that it showed great emotion on the little things that Daikichi has to pay attention to to actually be able to take care of a child.

Overall, this episode made me confident that the series will end up very well done. To people that are skeptical; this is a good series and should be watched, especially if you're into the cute slice-of-life genre.
