Another fantastic episode from Noitamina. The anime is still well paced and already introducing new characters and expanding the development for old ones. This is truly a worthy translation from manga to anime.

With Rin's mother in the story, Daikichi has to make some pretty challenging decisions. After the conflict with career, scheduling and schooling, the next hurdle ends up being relations. With a runaway mom, what are you going to do with Rin's name? How long is she going to stay with a relative other than her actual mother? How to handle the child traumas?

Seriously, Usagi Drop is just marvelous at how they masterfully craft a realistic world, with realistic problems, while leaving room for subtle drama and plot development. Adding to this is the pure innocence and cuteness of Rin and her fanatic expressions!

Seeing thing in anime/manga is challenging because you normally see out of the ordinary sequences to stories to make them appeal to a larger crowd. Here, we see that the creators know what audience this is for and what to do to entertain them. Noitamina is a beast.
